There is an underdog inside of you, I’m sure.
If you own your business, lead one, or create innovation in your job, you are the underdog.
It’s lonely some days.
Very lonely.
Other days, it feels great – like you’re on top of the world.
Why?
There’s something very rewarding in being that lonely underdog, out far away from the warm comfort of the flock.
The air is fresh, it’s less crowded.
You know that with each experience that burns and hurts you, you become a more powerful person, in business and otherwise.
Hold out your hands in front of you, and look at them.
No, I’m not crazy.
Take a look at your hands.
Front.
Now the back.
Just think, someday those hands will be dust.
What you do today and the experiences that you squeeze out of this short life count.
So, be that underdog.
Do something that scares you.
You won’t win every fight, but once in a while that underdog does win.
