Frac sand exploration insight from Stuart Burgess

My colleague Stuart Burgess, from Burgex, Inc., is the “Indiana Jones” of metals and minerals exploration.

Stuart and I have had the opportunity to work together and evaluate different types of deposits, frac sand and bentonite most recently.  He would get out into the field for his client, and then send me samples for testing.

We would work together on behalf of our (now) mutual client to test their samples, and we designed the testing programs around their available budget.

His specialty is getting out in the field and exploring for metals and minerals, and he has a great knack for finding resources and deposits that others haven’t.
