Ok, it’s not really NEW (1994 vintage) but it’s new to us.
I took the family out camping on Memorial Day weekend.
We were camping in the “family heirloom” camper — a 1978 Starcraft Stardust Swinger pop up style camper.
It’s basically a cross between a tent and a camper, with no bathroom and leaky walls.
You see, it got down to around 27F at night, and my girls were getting pretty cold.
That, and they had to use our friend’s camper bathroom to go potty.
As I lay awake at 11pm that night, I figured that I needed to get a different camper for the family. Luckily, my wife had been keeping an eye out (she didn’t like the pop up camper at all) and we looked at a new camper (to us) on Memorial Day morning.
It was a nicely kept, 1994 Sportsmen 24′ camper that had a real bathroom and an actual forced air heating system! What aristocrats! Ha
Anyway, we made a nice “cash only” deal and drove away with the camper.
Key thing was, I had a budget and didn’t want to spend the family fortune on a new camper. So, we got a clean, used functional camper that met our needs.
No one will be begging us for a tour, but for us it’s the right fit for right now.
Kinda reminds me of the Global Energy Labs business model.
We tailor our testing to fit your budget, and can work with most budgets.
We can test for a wide variety of minerals:
* Frac sand or man made proppants to API and ISO specs
* Drilling grade barite to API 13A specs
* Bentonite for drilling, to API 13A specs
* Rare Earth Metals testing, to figure out the concentration of metals in ores
* “The whole kitchen sink” mineral testing, to find out if the ore you have has anything of value in it
We’re not the biggest or the most prestigious lab on the block, but we’re a solid and practical lab. We have a bathroom and a heater. Ha
