Ha ha.
Thought that I’d start off 2014 with some “conventional wisdom” doom and gloom.
Most people are obsessed with the bad news. Heck, good news doesn’t sell newspapers!
Then there are those people — just like you — plugging away on their careers and businesses.
I just heard from a client today, and they are on the CUSP of a deal with a large sand deposit. Getting ready to sell their rights on a BIG ol’ bunch of frac sand to a BIG frac sand company.
I did a bunch of testing for them, and the future is looking great on their project.
When I get sick of the bad news, I just put on some movie score music (I really like the song “Time” from the Inception movie soundtrack), open up a blank word processing document, and tap out this e-mail to you.
Keeps me sane.
Something else that will keep you sane – Frac Sand Quarterly, which I’m working on right now for 1st Quarter 2014.
It’s gonna be a wonderful tome of profitable information – interviews and key info from the leaders in the frac sand exploration industry.
Keep an eye out for it.
In the meantime, here’s a productivity tip.
To really focus on a task, put on a piece of emotional, lyric free music, and put it on repeat.
Then go to work.
Put on my favorite song “Time,” and tell me this doesn’t help you get some work done!
